Among researchers and scientists, there is this miracle plant that most of the world is talking about and is theorized as the future of medication. This plant is what we call as Cannabis, commonly known as Marijuana or Hemp.

Coming from a lot of innovations, the plant can be extracted and get the chemical known as (CBD) Cannabidiol. CBD is one of the many substances that can be extracted from the cannabis plant. The plant was famed due to its promising results on different medications on different illnesses.

According to some speculations, CBD can help someone who is suffering from ADHD. Listed below are some of the ways CBD can help with ADHD.

Helps anxiety

People who are suffering from other forms of anxiety, such as (SAD) social anxiety disorder and (PTSD) post-traumatic stress disorder can get different benefits from using CBD. According to research, people who have ADHD are probably suffering from an anxiety disorder, bipolar disorder, or comorbid psychiatric disorder. Comorbid means the simultaneous presence of two chronic diseases or conditions in a patient.

According to a study in 2011, CBD can experience overall reduced anxiety levels when using the said substance.

Helps relieve someone on sleep problems

Insomnia can come from different sources. It might be from your body clock, toxins from the body, or external factors. If this is due to external factors, CBD may be able to help by treating the cause of sleeplessness.

Some research about CBD suggests that CBD can treat insomnia and improve your sleep. In this study, 72 subjects were involved. Among the subjects, 47 were experiencing anxiety and 25 are experiencing poor sleep. The 72 subjects were all given a CBD capsule in 25 milligrams. The results in a month had shown promising outcomes as 79.2 percent of the patients who are suffering from anxiety have reported lower anxiety levels and 66.7 percent of the 25 patients have reported improved sleep.

Increase the volume of naturally produced cannabinoids

The human body is composed of different systems that run the body. In every human body, there is a system called the Endocannabinoid System (ECS) which exists to regulate and operate every function in the body.

The human body can produce certain numbers of cannabinoids naturally. These are the CB1 and CB2. CB1s is located in the brain and its main function is to support the movement, pain, appetite, mood, and even emotions. The CB2s are usually located in the body’s immune system. CB2s main function is to regulate inflammation and pain.

With the help of CBD, the body can utilize a higher volume of the cannabinoids that are naturally produced.

Improve hyperactivity symptoms

A study made by Baruchel et al, shows that CBD can improve the hyperactivity symptoms in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder significantly.

Gives off a calm sensation

It is known that Cannabis is also called the relax-inducing plant. You might be thinking that it is because of the (THC) Tetrahydrocannabinol that can be extracted from the plant, but no, you’re wrong. THC and CBD are different but come from the same plant.

They are the same as they are chemicals that can be extracted but they differ in the composition. CBD is non-psychoactive, meaning it does not make someone high. But it is proven to give someone a relaxing feeling without messing with someone’s mental stability.

Before indulging yourself to try out CBD-based products, it is advised to seek professional help to know the right dosage and the possible side effects of it in your body.
